#69018 - RE: D/A PWM 4 - 20 mA Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The AD694 appears to be a simple solution. I didn't know there was a chip like that. Looks like it has been around for a while since the figures in the datasheet look a bit rough.
The Cygnal micro I am using has a 12-bit DAC which means I could use a 2V reference and then run the analog signal into the AD694 to get the current output. The PWM method sound like a bit of work to get stable values and in some cases it would be reinventing the wheel. Thanks. |
