#69031 - RE: Programmer Circuit
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Yup, the AT89S51, AT89C52 and AT89C8252 are indeed available in mumbai... check out the shops on lamington road. If you are a student then i must recomend GALA Electronics. The prices are very reasonable...

But that is besides the point. You want to build your own programmer. You surely will... if you use the ISP chips from Philips, which is also available in mumbai. The number is 89C51RD2HBP.You'll need is a MAX232 IC from maxim (Also avaliable in mumbai!), a good read through Eric's "no touch" document and the AN-461 application note! You can download either the FlashMagic or WinISP (although FlashMagic is better) from the Philips semiconductors website for free and start programming...

hope this is of some help.
