can any one have any sample asm code to communicate the 8051 micros using serial port, for master and slave configration for multi-processor network working independently for a cental system..

i got some help in the philips 8051 tutorial but there is no complete explanation that how to set the mode of SMOD and the 9th bit for this type of protocol...

Using one MCU as master and others as slaves, I want to control /monitor various devices connected to the slave MCUs on the serial network...

Any help regarding will be greatly appriciated..!
