#69403 - Resolver interface with the 8051
I am trying to interface a brushless resolver made by AMCI to the 8051F060 microcontroller. The reference voltage which is the input to the resolver has to be AC signal 7V with 5KHZ frequency.
The induced voltages in the SIN and COS Windings are equal to the value of the Reference Voltage multiplied by the SIN or COS of the angle of the input shaft from a fixed zero point. Thus, the resolver provides two voltages whose ratio represents the absolute position of the input shaft. (SIN q / COS q = TAN q, where q = shaft angle.)

I have to use the same reference for my ADC inorder for me to calcuate the resolver position.

I have no clue as to how i can implement this. Any help will be really appreciated.

Below is a link for the resolver schematic. Part number R11X-J10/3

Thanks for reading..
