Hi Sachin,
Sorry for replying late.
You must have got the idea till now from the replies you got in this thread.
Let me tell you a short story which I read when I was a child.
The Story of King Akbar and the witty Birbal.
One day Akbar returned from a long journey and displayed a sword saying that this is the worlds best Sword, You can win any war with this sword and you will never fail. Everybody agreed to the kings words. But Birbal did not agree. Akbar told birbal to prove that the sword is not the best weapon. Birbal said he will prove it within a few days.
After few days Akbar and Birbal were resting in the balcony of the palace, from where they could see the city.
After some time a mad elephant caused havoc in the city. Soldiers were trying to control the elephant. During the commotion the elephant cornered a soldier near a wall and was about to crush him. The soldier tried with the sword and other weapons but was not able to stop him.
The last option, he caught hold of dog and threw the dog at the face of the elephant. The elephant got surprized with the dog falling on his face, and got frightened and ran away. This saved the soldiers life.
Akbar and Birbal had seen the above incident, and Akbar said :
"The best weapon is the one which comes handy in the right time". Akbar got his answer.

So the above story has relation to your question that you want to build an ideal hardware.
There is no such thing as Ideal Hardware.

Think of processors, microcontrollers, etc as a tool. Each of them has possitive and negative points, study each of them, find out which is the best for your application.

Remember deciding the processor (or no processor) is the decision that has to be taken much later in the product design stage. There are many decisions that need to be taken even before you select the processor.

Bye, and good luck,

Thanks for reading my post with patience.

Mr. Kiran V. Sutar.
