I wrote that the timer was set to 4 us, but I was wrong: it is loaded with 4, so that makes 256-4=252 us... Sorry for that.

On a real chip r0 would come full cycle every 0.06 seconds. On my simulator, it takes about 14 seconds. That's more than 200 times slower.
