Amir, if you want to know exactly what these so called ASSEMBLER DIRECTIVES do, I suggest you go to the Philips site: http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/markets/m...index.html and download the free but excellent MetaLink 8051 assembler, filename ml-asm51.zip (near the bottom of the page). It comes with a manual which clearly explains the directives you mention, and many more! Besides, you will have a good working assembler.
