I'm using FLIP 2.2.4, and it does support USB.
The first concern I have is whether *your* chip supports using USB for ISP. The reason I ask this is that I'm using another Atmel chip, the AT89C51CC03, which supports UART and CAN ISP...BUT you have to order the part with the desired bootloader programmed in. In other words, if I ordered the UART ISP part, and tried to program it via CAN, it would fail. A careful read of the datasheet, particularly regarding ISP should clarify this. I would recommend that you ahead and download the latest version of FLIP too. Dennis |
