hi,

i am using 89c51 µC, at 4MHz. i want to measure the frequency generated at the clock pin.
when i connect the CRO to pin #18 or pin # 19, i am getting sine wave at 50Hz !! , when i connect probe to 18 and 19, nothing appears in the CRO.

can please anyone suggest me how to measure the clock frequency...

the µC system is working fine, i just want to measure the clock frequency generating at the clock pins.

I am using 10x Probe, 30 MHz CRO.

please help,
