For a product that's going to be mass-produced, assembly time becomes an issue - in that case, something that just clips or snaps in is preferable. If this is a product destined for Europe, you may need to consider the implications of the WEEE (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment) directive - which has certain requirements for ease of dismantling for recycling. Screws are not so good from this point of view... |
