Probably the easiest way to get a CF connector is to buy the CF to PCMCIA adapters. At least you get a pcb to support the connector! Normally these are fairly cheap (<$10USD) but you'll need a magnifying glass to solder the connections!

Advantech have a PC104 converter board that converts the CF connections to a 44pin IDE connector that makes interfacing a bit easier. These are around $45 USD

Another place is Farnell or RS components - as to whether they have representation in India I do not know.
