Wy should it not possible to pull a pullup resistor externaly to lowlevel.
Since P2 is not a totem pole this should be possible.
Alternately I could do my XMEM read and writes at 0x000 to 0x0fff and then the P2 pins are at low.
Note when I want to read P2.4 to P2.7 there is definately no access to XMEM so setting P2 to 0xFF should work
