well, the project will have about 4 or 5
sensors: temp, speed, and i havent figured
out the others quite yet.
the 8051 will be used to get data from the
sensors, and store it, whether in on-board
ram or with add-on memory. then it will link
up to the ti89 and send all info to the calc.
i will have a program that will display relevant
information, like top speed, high temp, low temp
avg temp, avg speed, etc. and in the future
display graphs of the data.
without giving away why im doing it and what
it will be used for thats about all i will say.
i know that no-one has done this so i want to
keep it to myself.

it does sound like a great project and i think
it will be very useful in a niche market.
i only hope i can pull it off.
