from the .pdf in Charles post: only high-end models wake from power-down state by interrupt.
from the LPC932 datasheet: The P89LPC932 exits Power-down mode via any reset, or certain interrupts. So progress has made a $0.85 chip high-end. The LPC932 is just one of a plethora of newer derivatives that can exit power down on interrupt. My point is: why muck around with fancy designs and workarounds when the solution is right there just by selecting a chip with the feature you need. Erik |
