------------------------------- Hi Karim, The blowit source code I looked at had an array of 2048 bytes to hold the code. Thus for a 4051 the programmer code would have to be modified to be large enough. I suspect that the 4051 and 2051 use the same programming algorithm. You should read both datasheets to verify that. Thanks for the hint Dennis. I will check the pascal code, so I hope I can adapt it to the 89c4051. Charles Bannister wrote:
------------------------------- Hello Karim, I was just building this programmer. I laid out a printed circuit board and schematic which can be see at http://members.aol.com/cpu8052/blowit.gif This seems to be a diffrent schematic. The circuit from the sourceforge pub looks like this: http://3dcoders.bugpower.ch/schematics.gif I think it`s version 0.2 or something...I hope that it will do the job on FreeDOS and Linux. By the way, what are the diffrents between the two layouts, apart from the electronics compontents ? |
