Some clarifications : All through you talk about AC power but refer to the units in Volt. "discard the measurement if the reading is below some value (eg. 70V), but it can happen during the discharge time, so I'll log 100V, 90V" If it is only the voltage that you are keen to record, it is fairly straight forward and the suggestions, as given in the earlier thread referred to by you, will help. But if its AC power, then the scene changes - you really will benefit from using a chip like ADE7753 - to accuratley read AC power you need DSP and these chips have it in them.
