You shouldn´need to do cycle-cycle monitoring - your load is a heater and its thermal time constant is large. No, just smooth your sensing transformer output and give it a time constant of a couple of seconds, to pick up the mains variation.
You don´t need impedance matching, the o/p impdeance of your transformer is very low, the input to the ADC is usually very high. You are NOT after maximum power transfer. Steve |
