The F12x has built in ISP and software etc available free. But Michael was talking about In-Application Programming (IAP); the JTAG ISP (In-System Programming) is not much help for that. I think I've mentioned before that I've been looking at doing In-Application Programming on a Triscend E5 (may it rest in peace) for software updates over GPRS in a GPRS telemetry device. The JTAG ISP is no use here, unless you can have a 2nd processor just to drive the JTAG... |
