Just because of improper net connection only few lines have appeared here is complete problem.

I have started working on project LAP COUNTER & TIMER
for Go-Karting.

what I planned is Controller will receive signals from each car passing Start/Finish line with its id.

Then controller will start its timer & stops only on next crossover by same Kart.

I am trying to use RF communication .
RF will be modulated using dial tones. range required for comm. is only a meter or 2.

Loop Antenna wil be placed along the finish line.
Kart passing over the line will transmit rf signals & will be detcted by Demodulation & detection circuit.

Once it is detected controller will send the accumulated count (time ) to PC for further process.

This is what the idea is.

The problem :
1. Is it practical
2. How to solve the issue of 2 or more Karts passing the line simultenously.
3.Any other method for identification of Karts with speed of 60Kmph
4. Is there any other better way to do these things
I want suggestions & views about this
