I had the oppoortunity at a large company to compare many compilers. The benchmark was the Keil, but in my humble opinion the very best value is the Hi-Tech. Again in a litigous society I can not tell you what is the worst, but the Franklin compiler did not improve when they made their own instead of reselling Keil.
