#73627 - Moving Message:2)Caveates
Dear Members,
1)A AT89C2051-CD4094-24C256/512 based display located in Railway platform personal weighing machine is reported to be regularly hanging.I gather they have a complete PCB,not the type we used to find in 8085 based displays, where shift registers are mounted on separate strips perpendicular to the display and just below it.Which layout is better?
2)The clock line is not buffered. How to implement a buffer in the clock line?
3)It is reported that the serial eeprom gets wiped/corrupted.My experience with similar serial eeproms used in TV remote control is opposite,
that is,it is impossible to do so without a deliberate hardware hack.Where to read more on these?
4)What are the other precautions to be taken to run it in extremely noisy environment like minimum IC sockets,SMPS,Ground to Earth,Shielding etc.?
Best Regards
A.S.Rudra
