#73703 - RE: the Silicon Labs 8051F220 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I've actually ordered a couple of Philips 80C552's because I found that the F220 wasn't exactly the best chip for me, not to mention they are very difficult to come across in New Zealand. (see my newer post)
I've got the design on paper and I'm hurrying to move this thing onto a board. This is a holiday operation so I am working 12 hours a day to research everything i need to know. Basically, as long as I have a simple bus-powered system with a quick real-time OS (I'm a very good C coder) and my LCD / Serial / keyboard operation done I'll be sitting pretty for an award. My MAX232 chip should cover serial operations and I know how to power my Hitachi LCD inside out, It's just the AT keyboard thats troubling me at the moment. I'm finding the Philips documentation to be very helpful; If a little difficult to track down! |
