I have recently purchased and now use a product from a called Flash Designs www.flash.co.uk and discovered a true Universal MCS51 ICE for under $500. The ICE product can support literally any MCS51 chip from 40 pin to 200 pin in any package, using low cost chip specific modules. It beats the shit out of Hitex/Nohau etc ICE, and supports KEIL C. The ICE can support chips from other families as well.
