Make Sense? Nope. Dumb idea ;-) 0.8 volts less a diode drop less is 4/5 or 5/8 of %^&^*-all. Not enough to trigger the processor. As Kai comments we don't have enough info, but either a.) Your hall sensor doesn't give enough o/p and you need amplifiers. b.) Your inductive pickup doesn't give enough o/p at low revs and you are still screwed, and need amplifiers. Steve |
