#74762 - AC switching problem Culprit 4N40
Hi friends,
I have made a board for switching 110V AC the board is meant for switching 8 devices. The schematic of the switching module is as shown below.

Now the prototype board is ready and today I went to market to buy the components and to my surprise 4N40 was available no where I went to almost each and every retail electronic shop spent my entire day searching for 4N40 but no use. Can you guys please suggest me some alternative to 4N40. I know about MOC3041 but the problem is MOC3041 needs HOT and Neutral lines for AC switching but in my case of AC there is no Hot and Neutral both the wires are phase wires. I mean the system is a biphase system with phase angle of 120 degrees. Desperately waiting for your valuable suggestons.

Thank you very much.
Regards,
Prahlad Purohit.
