#74993 - More info on reading matrixed keyboard Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The "ADP Parts Locator" was given or sold to supply houses. They would enter a part number on the keyboard and the locator would dial up some backend and report back where that part was located. This has probably been replaced by a web interface now and that is why the locators are showing up on the surplus market. A picture of the outside is located at http://www.rdrop.com/~clq/adp.jpg and a picture of the circuit board inside is located at http://www.rdrop.com/~clq/adpboard.jpg. As you can see from the one photo I have the LCD display working and I am now trying to figure out how to read the keyboard. I am working from a copy of "The 8051 Microcontroller" book by Kenneth J. Ayala.
Thanks again Carlos |
