The most basic calculation is very easy, you need to allow the voltage to decay from 5.0 v to 4.9 volts say. This will require q=C(V1-V2) couloumbs.(1 micro couloumb) Now How long will it take the current consumption of your chip to draw that charge ? Say its 50 mA, and that is constant in this approximation. This will take 20 microseconds.
