It is what it says! It sets one bit at a time in the memory, checks all other bits to see that they have not changed, then does the next bit and so on. For a '1' bit test, the memory is initialised to all '0's and for a '0' bit test, the memory is initialised to '1's. As you can appreciate - this test takes time. |
