#76249 - <-- Problem Resolved! --> Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Our hypothesis was right...the problem was the board's bootloader eliminating spacing between code and .ORG locations.
Got my new "Willem" programmer and read the bootloader's resulting code in ROM: all spacing eliminated in the code PROM. Reprogrammed my PROM with the programmer and code was fixed and DPTR is ok! Looks like I will post a few warnings about Suncoast Technology's 8051 board/software/documentation soon. I suspect that this caused all of my weird C program failures (earlier post topic). Thanks for the help! Marty :) |
