#76249 - <-- Problem Resolved! -->
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Our hypothesis was right...the problem was the board's bootloader eliminating spacing between code and .ORG locations.

Got my new "Willem" programmer and read the bootloader's resulting code in ROM: all spacing eliminated in the code PROM. Reprogrammed my PROM with the programmer and code was fixed and DPTR is ok!

Looks like I will post a few warnings about Suncoast Technology's 8051 board/software/documentation soon. I suspect that this caused all of my weird C program failures (earlier post topic).

Thanks for the help!

Marty :)
