UPS, FedEx, DHL couriers are some choices. The rates will vary obviously based on volume or weight and the urgency with which you want. If you don't specify time the rates are normally lower. Some examples : A 8052 kit from Hynetic reached me at 14 USD freight and a book from Amazom reached me at 19 USD.


If the item is in stock it takes about a week for normal courier handled packages.


Low value items ( say less than 100 USD ) and books just pass through customs without questions. ( Unless you are trying to get something that is banned like diamonds or gold..;-)


Credit card Visa, Amex, Mastercard are easy. There is another method PayPal - very demanding the first time but after that a breeze.

Suggest try out one transaction and you will get to see how easy it is. Just make sure the forms that you submit your credit card details happens over a secure connection and authenticated by an agency like VeriSign. I do and till date have never had one spurious billing.

PS : Be very very careful if you are trying to get stuff like video CDs or movie CDs from suspect sites. Then you could be in real trouble.
