I have been thinking over this idea for years. There are positives and negatives as well. But my personal opinion is that there should be optional provision in the user profile.

BTW: The user profile has already provision of entering your home page and resume page.

But all users should at least fill in the location details, as Erik pointed out earlier and whether student or professional.

So first of all, show us how does Ragunathan look like ;-)
