Erik a Supervisor IC is something like MAX700/701?I couldn't find them yet here in India.
I read your DOC once again but there seems to be a mysterious figure 1 & 2 in AN461 which I don't find in my version of AN461.
It would great help if you could forward the version on AN461 you refer (I am using AN461_9).

Can you explain when and how to implement "notouch"



Also should I remove R1 from the circuit?
is it necessary to remove R1 for proper functioning?
