#76644 - RE: be happy Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Indeed Indeed.....Many years ago I was myself happily having fun and earning a living designing hardware and writing supporting software around x80 processors that took advantage of the CP/M-80 DOS. Another guy I knew spent unbelievable amounts of time trying to clone CP/M-80 DOS functionality over to an 1802 processor. I think I completed more than a handful of varied and interesting projects over the same time span that this other dude messed around with his DOS. Somehow I don't recall that there ever ended up being a CP/M-1802 that made any debut or impact on the microcontroller market. On the other hand my SASI host controller and tape backup controller went to market and were used by many people. ![]() Michael Karas |
