Some might be so inclined to write a JAVA to 8051 JIT compiler. I don't particularly care to go that route, but I don't let others' decisions influence me negatively.

Face it, you have a certain "style", and you just want everyone else to adghere to that. Not just you, 90% of programmers ask questions like "Why does he put the curly brace on the same line as the function name?" or "Why does he use global variables?"

If I ever need to start defending my style, I'll start answering questions like that. But not before.
