Thank you all very much for providing this valuable information on How to use MAX202 for powering small op-Amp. It is a great help to me since I am in the process of designing a circuit where I have to use an Op-Amp for conditioning signal from a Current Transformer. Earlier I was planning to use two Voltage regulators 7812 and 7912 + Additional transformer +18 0 -18 solely for purpose of powering this Op-Amp but now I will do it with MAX232.
