#7730 - Keypad interfacing revisited... |
Hi All,
I have seen the previous postings on how to interface and "De-bounce" a keypad to the 8031. Would it not be possible to utilize an interrupt pin inorder to let the cpu know a key was pressed and by the time the user releases the button, see which one was pressed? I haven't seen anyone move a finger above 1Mhz yet :-). Inorder to see which key was pressed, have 2 8 input latches (74hc573s) scanned for the bit that was sent from the keypad during the interrupt routine. Does this seem like it would work to you all?
