Maybe a stupid question, but I tried to send an value 13 (00001101) over rs232 but it seems like this is NOT a lewline.

I would like to send some text over rs232 to my hyperterminal and then a second line of text should also be sent, but it should display on the next line.

Any help would be very much appreciated. I am allready happy that I could set up the serial port connection to the PC (use a ST232BN chip instead of MAX232 because my computer shop gave me this chip instead)

Now if I could send a NEWLINE, this would be great.
