#78261 - RE: Develop kit -wait for Mr Craiger Responding to: ???'s previous message |
80c51 is a '51
80c52 is a '52 80c51Rx2 is a '52 With todays plethora of derivatives, the number mean nothing It used to be that a derivative with a PCA had Fx after the number, no more. In other words, to select a chip, You must check the (short form) datasheet. if i want to start from scratch which one should i choose, if can pls guide me towards microcontroller which has rs232 interface ,so that it is easier for me to programe it in future, The two alternatives I would recommend would be a SILabs development board ($99-$149) and, if money is extremely tight The MCB-900 which can be obtained from several sources.
