OTGI : Off Topic General Interest !

I am right now doing the unenviable job of putting together the machine specifications for a test stand to validate a fuel pump. The problem is in specifying the Accuracy Class for the sensors like RTDs, Pressure transmitters, Flow transmitters and Torque transducers.

While I am generally aware that Accuracy Class specfies the tolerance band of the measurement, I would like to get more specific information on this.

Searching on the net, I was lucky to land on this one on Platimun sensors ( DIN IEC751 ) : http://www.lakeshore.com/pdf_files...-00-00.pdf

Similiarly I would like to get similiar data for parameters like load, torque, flow and pressure. I am not sure if all of these are covered by a single document or I need to get separate documents. Spent lots of time of time on the ANSI webstore but could not latch on to the right document.

I will be very thankful if anybody could point at some document that discusses/ specifies this Accuracy Class as applied to sensors. Even an IEC or ISO document number would do - I can buy it through the net.
