#79769 - RE: Silicon Labs 8051 MCUs Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Erik,
J will buy the kit for the F32x. This MCU is very interesting to me because of the USB interface. We have many boards using USB and till now we use a USB to 232 converter chip from FTDI. We also tried the CP2101 (USB to 232 converter) from Silabs and it works great. Since my local vendor told me this chip is essentially a F32x core with special firmware on board, j believe the mcu also works great! Best of all Silicon labs provide libraries (for Keil compiler) for using the USB interface, this eliminate the need for studying in detail the USB protocol. Massimo. |
