#80004 - RE: Prog.CounterArray irq problem Responding to: ???'s previous message |
hi,
no, Russian is not possible here. But you may contact me via e-mail or ICQ at day time on the next week. So, what is a goal of using sw timer PCA module mode, if it's not so good for time measuring? It may or may not be good. I use PCA often and often. But most time PCA modules are used as positive/negative edges detectors of corresponded pins. Nevertheless the PCA overflow interrupt gives me timer ticks which are used inside modules to calculate the time of pulse. From other side, PCA compare mode may be usefull for non-periodic or pereodic interrupts. Sometimes, timers 0 and 1 are obtained for "classic" tasks (buttons debouncing, RTC, UART clock generator etc). For example, if you need to do pulse sequence on a pin with intervals, let say, 1000-500-2000-200-etc then PCA compare mode is the best solution. As said - "as many people, as many ideas how-to-do" Regards, Oleg |
