The HD44100 is a general LCD driver with 40-channel output that can be driven by the HD44780 LCD controller. It seems that your particular display does not have the HD44780 controller. In this case, you might have to drive the HD44100 directly with your on board processor. Some more information can be found here.

If the information on above pages is correct, you should chose some other LCD module since it would be difficult and much more software overhead to drive this particular LCD.
