Can anybody give the specs and IC no of TRIAC available in mumbai.It should withstand upto 2 amp In mumbai you can easily get BT136-xxxx series of triacs. These triacs cost 6 to 8 Rs. and come in TO220 package. These triacs are rated for 4A on-state current and 25A Non-repetative on state current. You have three varieties available. BT136-400, BT136-500, BT136-600 the number after '-' indicates PIV [Peak inverse voltage ]. Regards, Prahlad Purohit |
