Thanks Erik. I am aware of the LPC9xx possibilities. I was trying to be in a mode of keeping the design of my distributed PWM functions as simple as possible without incurring additional oscillators, reset circuits etc etc.

I guess if I was going to look at the LPC9xx parts I could just as well look at the Cygnal 'F3xx parts. THey would work well too.
