As I have previously noted, the effort to drive things when everything goes right amounts to only 10% or so of the effort to handle all the things that could possibly go wrong! And then there's the extra 20% to cope with all the exceptions due to having to interwork with long-established misinterpretations & downright violations caused by people not bothering to read the specs (properly). :-( Yes, 90% + 10% + 20% - that's why projects always overrun!! :-( |
