#81288 - Just use the mode 0 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Nguyen,
With some restrictions you can use the 8052 UART to get a communication with the 24C64 EEPROM. Just operate with mode 0 of the UART. The baud rate is fixed at 1/12 of the oscillator frequency, of coarse, that's the restriction. For instance, if your EEPROM operates at 400kHz, maximum 8052 clock cannot be more than 400*12=4800kHz. From another hand, there are a lot of quicker EEPROMs and you can choose proper one. Regards, George |
