#8157 - Free or Demo BASIC 8051 Compiler
Hello board:

I am looking for a fully MCS Basic compatible compiler. I know that Binary Technology's BXC 51 is supposed to be exactly that but I would like to try it out before shelling out over $200.00 for the full version. So far the only place I have found that even sells it is an Italian outfit. Are there any other fully compatible BASIC compilers out there for free or that have a limited DEMO version available for download. I can tell you for certain that the BASCOM 8051 compiler is not even close to compatible and can NOT do multiple math calculations so it will not work for any of the machine control applications I am now doing. The 8052-BASIC is great but too slow for some of the applications I have.

Any help here will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Randy Abernathy
