problem posted at http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=80577 i have done all the optionas i could with the existing board as suggested by Mr. Erik and Mr. Prahlad. still problem not solved. finally it struck me that Mr. Prahlad told to use ground lines in alternte lines when using flat cable. i routed RST and JTAG lines via a 16 pin flat cable to make them available at the edge of the PCB. Power supply lines are there in that 16 pin flat cable. any spike on power supply lines are creating Reset of the micro. my boot loader goes to program down load mode once it is Soft Reset or a Port pin is low. because of the soft reset it is always going to Boot load mode and not communicating to display. I changed the boot loader program and removed JTAG and RESET lines from that 16 pin flat cable. now it is working properly. tested with my test gear also. test gear at http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=80808 my sincere thanks to all of you for helping me. special thanks to Erik and Prahlad.
