Work Around:
Perform all MOVC instructions on memory locations in internal flash memory. You have to love a bug like that and their recommended work-around. Presumably if you're executing MOVC on external memory it's because that's where the data is, not in internal flash memory. This kind of error is a potential show-stopper for some applications where the only solution would be to switch MCUs. Any indication if this will be fixed in future versions of the DS89c4x0 or do we just have to learn to love this particular error when using DS89C4x0 for the rest of eternity?
