#82041 - Probably FAT, but need communications Responding to: ???'s previous message |
seems I miss something. As far as I know, SD card, like MMC, uses FAT12/16 file system generally. Is it not right? I wouldn't be surprised if it's stored in some kind of FAT format. But my problem at this point is communication to get to the file system at any level. The documentation I have explains how to communicate with the card via SPI or via the SD protocol (faster since it's 4 bits wide) but I have yet to find information regarding the actual commands that need to be sent to the card to, for example, read a sector, write a sector, format the card, etc. Regards, Craig Steiner |
